Cyclist
injured in collision on busy Burnham-On-Sea roundabout
A
busy roundabout in Burnham-On-Sea was briefly closed by police
on Friday evening (February 20th) after an accident involving
a cyclist.
The
Esso petrol station roundabout at the junction of Love Lane was
shut at 8.10pm for several minutes as paramedics treated a male
cyclist who had been struck by a passing car.
One
eyewitness told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The force of the collision
threw the cyclist over the bonnet of the car, but he did not seem
to be seriously injured."
With
Burnham ambulance station just a few yards away, paramedics were
quickly on the scene to help the man.
