Deer
oh deer! Fawn causes a stir on Burnham-On-Sea housing estate

This
timid, young deer has been fascinating residents on a Burnham-On-Sea
housing estate this week after spending several evenings grazing
on wasteland.
To
the surprise of residents, the fawn has been seen several times
at the landfill site off Wallace Wells Road, including on Wednesday
evening (May 20th) when Lee Webber took these photos of the animal.
Lee
told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "He keeps coming out in the early
evening and stands by the fence, but then quickly runs off whenever
anyone comes towards him for a closer look."
"The
animal is a wonderful sight and is not the kind of animal you'd
usually expect to see on land like this."
