Burnham-On-Sea
diabetes support group calls it a day

Burnbridge
Diabetes group has decided to call it a day after several years
of successful operations.
The group held their final meeting at the Berrow Inn last
week, where the group was officially wound up.
Secretary
Mike Lang told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The membership numbers
were depleted, and we were starting to run out of steam. Therefore,
we decided to treat our paid up members to an excellent carvery
meal at the Berrow Inn, and donate the residual funds to Burnham
and Highbridge Community Medical Fund."
The end result was a presentation to the Medical Equipment fund
of a cheque for £400 and a lot of satisfied members.
Mike added: "They looked after us very well at the Berrow
Inn, and we considered the donation to the Medical Equipment fund
most appropriate, because we are keeping the money local."
