Cyclist injured in Burnham-On-Sea road accident

A cyclist was treated for minor injuries after a collision with a vehicle at a busy roundabout on the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea on Friday morning (July 31st).

Police and ambulance crews were called to the Edithmead roundabout besides junction 22 of the M5 motorway at 7.15am.

A male cyclist in his 30s was treated at the scene.

Police spokesman Steve Game confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com: "A black Ford collided with a cyclist, but the injuries were not serious."
