Burnham-On-Sea fire crews
called to electrical blaze in town
Two
Burnham-On-Sea fire crews were called to a small blaze in the
town on Thursday evening (February 5th).
The
crews were sent to Trinity Rise at 7.04pm after a shower caught
fire in a bathroom.
"On
arrival the crews found that the fire had burnt itself out and
the shower unit had been completely destroyed," a fire spokesman
told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
"Crews
used a thermal image camera to check the roof space to ensure
the fire had not spread, and then ventilated the property."
"There
was slight damage to the bathroom and the cause was thought to
be electrical."
