Burnham-On-Sea fire crew called to factory fire in Bridgwater

A fire engine from Burnham-On-Sea was called to help tackle a factory blaze in Bridgwater on Friday morning (April 17th).

Fire crews from Bridgwater, Burnham, Street and Taunton were sent to a wood factory on Bridgwater Business Park after smoke was seen emerging from the building at 7am.

Fire spokeswoman Tessa Farrow told "Ten breathing apparatus were used by the fire crews to tackle the fire in a workshop at the property."

"Several gas cylinders were also removed as a precaution and adjoining properties were checked over by the crews."
