Burnham-On-Sea firefighters called to small property fire

Two fire crews were sent to investigate a blaze at a home in Burnham-On-Sea during the early hours of Saturday morning (March 7th).

One fire engine from Burnham and another from Bridgwater rushed to Mendip Way.

"On their arrival, the crews found this was a fire involving the fuse of the electricity main supply in an outbuilding attached to the main building," a fire spokesman explained to Burnham-On-Sea.com.

"The fire was caused by an electrical fault and the damage was confined to the fusebox only."

"The fire was out on our arrival and the property was ventilated. Western Power were also called to deal with fusebox."
