Police and two fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea were called to a mystery blaze at an outbuilding in Huntspill on Friday afternoon (May 1st).

Firefighters used two water jets to damp down the garden outbuilding in Ringstone, near Withy Road, as pictured here.

Police were also called to the scene to try and find the cause of the fire.

Fire spokesman Paul Slavin confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Two fire crews from Burnham were called at 12.05pm to a fire in an outbuilding adjoining a property.”

“Two hose reel jets were used to damp down the building and ensure the fire did not spread.”

“The police were also requested to investigate the cause, which is still under investigation.”
