Police
investigate mystery fire near Burnham-On-Sea

Police
and two fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea were called to a mystery
blaze at an outbuilding in Huntspill on Friday afternoon (May
1st).
Firefighters
used two water jets to damp down the garden outbuilding in Ringstone,
near Withy Road, as pictured here.
Police
were also called to the scene to try and find the cause of the
fire.
Fire
spokesman Paul Slavin confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Two
fire crews from Burnham were called at 12.05pm to a fire in an
outbuilding adjoining a property."
"Two
hose reel jets were used to damp down the building and ensure
the fire did not spread."
"The
police were also requested to investigate the cause, which is
still under investigation."
He
added that the outbuilding had suffered some damage as a result
of the fire and smoke.
