Two fire engines were called to this property in the centre of Burnham-On-Sea on Monday evening (November 9th) to tackle a kitchen blaze.

The crews rushed to Oxford Street at 5.30pm, as pictured here, amid initial reports that property was alight.

However, they found a small fire within the kitchen of the property, caused by a grill pan being left unattended.

“Some food was destroyed by the fire and there was slight heat and smoke damage in a kitchen,” a fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

The fire crews assisted with ventilating the property.
