Day
of live music to be held in aid of Burnham-On-Sea Folk Fest
A
day of live music is to be held at a Burnham-On-Sea pub next month
to raise money for the town's annual FolkFest.
Ten
acts will be performing at the Railway Inn on Easter Sunday, April
12th, to raise cash towards the ever-increasing costs of holding
Burnham's annual late summer folk festival.
Acts
performing will be Bag of Rats (pictured), Three Sheets TWind,
The FOS Brothers, Phil King, Harry & The Hecklers, Vermin,
Tim Dean & Paul Stradling, David Chave, Nick & Chris Elswood,
and Richard Keedwell.
"Something
has to be done to raise money towards this event or it just won't
be able to go ahead in future," Railway Inn owner Danny Pearce
told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
"We're
putting on a great day's entertainment - and an all-day ticket
will cost just £5. The first act will be on stage from 1pm,
with live music going on through the day until closing time."
Pre-event
tickets are now on sale from GC Music in College Street and the
Railway Inn.
