Burnham-On-Sea disabilities group celebrates 30 years of helping

-

Members of a long-running Burnham-On-Sea club for people with learning disabilities have been celebrating the group’s 30th anniversary.

The Burnham and Highbridge Gateway Club held its annual awards night where members of the group received accolades for their work.

Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor and Mayoress, Derick and Christine Cooper, were among the guests at the function at the town’s BAY Centre, as pictured here.

Gateway Chairman Arthur Thorogood told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Thirty years is a significant milestone or any group and I thank all our volunteers and supporters for their help over the years.”

The club provides social activities for local adults with learning disabilities.
