'Green'
festival held at Burnham-On-Sea Holiday Village
Burnham-On-Sea
Holiday Village has this week been highlighting its environmentally-friendly
credentials by holding a 'green' festival.
Among the events held at the park were tree planting, a craft
fayre and a fancy dress competition using bin bags and recycled
materials.
"The park prides itself on being at the forefront of good
environmental practice in the holiday industry," explained
a spokesman.
The
Burnham park has also recently introduced a number of conservation
measures, including the installation of low-energy light bulbs
and water-saving devices in caravans.
