Busy
Bank Holiday fete raises £4,000 for Burnham-On-Sea hospital

Thousands
of pounds was raised for Burnham-On-Sea Hospital's League Of Friends
on Bank Holiday Monday (August 31st) when the group held its annual
summer fete.
The
town's Manor Gardens were full to the brim with large crowds for
an afternoon of traditional stalls, fairgound games and entertainment.
Among
the many Burnham-On-Sea groups taking part and raising money were
the Lions, Rotary Club, WI, Coastguards, BARB, RNLI, Scouts, Moose
Lodge and the Royal British Legion.
League
Of Friends Chairman Tony Dheal told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It's
been a great afternoon. We saw an excellent turnout of people
despite the dull weather and have raised around £4,000.
Many thanks go to everyone who supported the event."
