a scoop! New ice
cream parlour opens on Burnham
seafront

new ice cream parlour opened on Burnham-On-Sea seafront on Saturday
(April 4th) in time for the start of the Easter holidays.
Owner
Robin Luxom is keeping his fingers crossed for a hot spring and
summer, having launched the business, called The Whole Scoop,
on the Esplanade near Sunspot Amusements.
It
is selling a range of ice creams, refreshments and beach toys.
"This
is an ideal location for a business like this - we just want a
good summer of weather now and plenty of visitors," he told
Burnham-On-Sea.com.
"The
recession could mean that those people who usually go abroad will
in fact be taking cheaper holidays at home this year. I think
Burnham could benefit from this."
