New Burnham-On-Sea internet
cafe logs on for business
Burnham-On-Sea's
Mayor cut the ribbon to officially open a new Internet cafe in
the town on Friday afternoon (February 27th).
Cllr
Peter Burridge-Clayton was joined by Alex Turco, Burnham's Chamber
of Trade Chairman, to open the new venture, called The Link, in
Cross Street.
Shop
manager Martin Hart told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It was a good
opening ceremony and we've had plenty of interest in what we're
offering."
Internet
access is being offered at 10p per minute, or £5 per hour,
and the shop also offers refreshments, printing and photocopying
services.
Its
opening hours are 10am-4pm, Monday to Saturday.
Burnham-On-Sea.com
is supporting the new venture and our home page is displayed as
the start-up screen on the cafe's six computers.
