A man was arrested in the centre of Burnham-On-Sea early on Sunday (March 29th) following an attack on this car.

Police were called to the junction of Jaycroft Road and Oxford Street at 7.30am after residents were woken by the sound of breaking glass.

A Vauxhall car’s windscreen and several side windows had been smashed, as pictured, sending shards of broken glass across the street.

One nearby resident told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We woke up at around 7.30am to the hear lots of noise outside.”

“Within a few minutes there were about ten police officers in the street and a man was arrested a short time later.”
