Large
crowds flock to Burnham-On-Sea's Jazz In The Park
Large
crowds flocked to Burnham-On-Sea's
Manor Gardens on Sunday (June 7th) for the town's annual Jazz
In The Park.
The
free entertainment included music from acclaimed 20-piece group
Boulevard Swing, who played a full line-up of swing tunes.
The
four-hour event also included the Roger Bond Band and Henry's
Hot Six.
Organising
group CADS, the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development
Society, holds several free events a year for the benefit of people
in both towns.
Chairman Mike Murphy told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The event
went really well - the crowds enjoyed a great line-up of top jazz,
all for free, and the weather was very kind to us until a heavy
downpour right at the end of the afternoon."
