Land train set to be re-introduced on Burnham-On-Sea seafront

A land train is set to be re-introduced along Burnham seafront next week for the summer tourist season.

It comes after town councillors this week gave their approval to an application to run the 16ft train, with two carriages, along The North Esplanade, pictured here.

It will operate between Burnham jetty and Margaret Crescent from early July through until the end of the summer season.
