Over 170 members and supporters of Burnham-On-Sea Hospital's League Of Friends attended the group's annual party on Saturday evening (March 14th).

The party, held at Lakeside Holiday Park, had a 'black and white' theme this year and this was reflected in the costumes of those who attended.

The League also officially announced at the event their £300,000 investment into Burnham hospital's refurbishment project, which was reported here by last week.

Tony Deahl, the Chairman of the League of Friends, told "It was an exceedingly successful evening. We were delighted to make over £700 from the night. The aim of the party was just to break even. We thank local people who support the hospital throughout the year."
