Over 170 members and supporters of Burnham-On-Sea Hospital’s League Of Friends attended the group’s annual party on Saturday evening (March 14th).

The party, held at Lakeside Holiday Park, had a ‘black and white’ theme this year and this was reflected in the costumes of those who attended.

The League also officially announced at the event their £300,000 investment into Burnham hospital’s refurbishment project, which was reported here by Burnham-On-Sea.com last week.

Tony Deahl, the Chairman of the League of Friends, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was an exceedingly successful evening. We were delighted to make over £700 from the night. The aim of the party was just to break even. We thank local people who support the hospital throughout the year.”
