More than 190 people filled Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Hall on Saturday night (December 5th) for a Christmas concert performed by youngsters from two local schools.

Organised by Burnham Lions Club, the ‘Children Singing For Children’ event raised more than £700 for children’s charities.

Youngsters from Burnham Infants School and Berrow Primary School took part in the event, along with the Lions Brass For Youth band.

Chairman Andrew Bryant told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The event was a great success. We filled the Princess to capacity, selling 190 tickets, and everyone had a wonderful evening.”

In the audience were Burnham’s Mayor and Mayoress Derick and Christine Cooper, plus Sedgemoor District Council Chairman Jane Moreton.
