Lanes
closed on motorway after lorry breakdown at Burnham-On-Sea
Queues
of traffic built up on the M5 at Burnham-On-Sea on Thursday afternoon
(January 15th) after a lorry broke down, causing one lane of the
motorway to be closed for over an hour.
The
Highways Agency shut the hard shoulder and inside lane of the
southbound carriageway, as pictured, between junctions 22 at Burnham-On-Sea
and 23 at Highbridge.
A
recovery team attended the scene and the motorway was fully re-open
again by the middle of the afternoon.
