Police arrest motorist after
Burnham-On-Sea road accident

A
motorist has been arrested after allegedly running away from his
car after an accident in Burnham-On-Sea this week.
Police
were called to Marine Drive at 5am on Wednesday morning (February
4th) after a Ford Probe skidded across a grass verge, collided
with a sign post, and ended up in a front garden.
Burnham-On-Sea
police spokesman Martin Dunscombe told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "A
32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at
an accident and driving while disqualified.
"He
was held in custody and later released on bail pending further
enquiries."
"We
would appeal for anyone who saw the accident to get in contact
with Avon and Somerset Police."
