Missing
four-year-old prompts police search near Burnham-On-Sea
Police
were called to a Brent Knoll garden centre on Thursday afternoon
(December 10th) after a young girl was reported missing.
Woried
staff at Sanders Garden World called in officers to investigate
and the store, which was full of Christmas shoppers, was temporarily
closed to prevent people leaving or entering.
Police
and staff searched the store for the youngster, who was aged just
four.
Simon
Whitby, police spokesman, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We were
called at 4pm and the girl had already been missing for an hour.
There was lots of concern for her."
"A
full search was carried out before she was eventually found safe
and well on the premises at 4.30pm."
