Dog
owner thanks Burnham-On-Sea.com readers in puppy search

The
owner of a puppy that has been missing for over a fortnight has
this week thanked readers of Burnham-On-Sea.com for helping her
in the search for her much-loved pet.
A
notice was placed on Burnham-On-Sea.com's forums here
within hours of owner Victoria Aldworth, pictured, placing dozens
of posters around the town in a desperate search for missing ten-month-old
puppy Benjy.
"Since
the message appeared on Burnham-On-Sea.com's forums, the messages
of support and help I have received from readers has been superb,"
she said. "I can't praise the website enough."
"I've
received lots of helpful information about sightings of Benjy
too and readers have been out searching between Brean and Burnham.
Their positivity has kept me going during a very difficult period
and I feel confident that Benjy will be found."
The
dog is a black Springer Spaniel cross Labrador with a red collar
and is described as being slim with short legs and a glossy coat.
He is microchipped and has a white mark under his chin.
Victoria
added: "He is a nervous dog, so rather than approaching him
and scaring him away, I would urge people to give me a call if
they sight him."
Victoria
has already found three stray dogs in her search for missing Benjy,
but hopes the next dog to be found will be hers.
If
you think you have seen Benjy, call Victoria on 0752 653 4218
or email us here.
