Burnham-On-Sea supermarket offers
free bus service to Weston
Shoppers
in Burnham-On-Sea can get a free bus to Weston using a temporary
service launched this week by a supermarket in the town.
Morrisons,
which took over the Somerfield store in Pier Street earlier this
year, has launched the free bus service to take shoppers to its
Weston store while work is underway to rebrand the Burnham supermarket.
"The
bus runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and will pick up shoppers
outside the store at 9am," explained a spokesman.
Burnham-On-Sea.com
first reported in January
that the Somerfield store in Pier Street is being rebranded after
a change of ownership.
