Duo to open Burnham's new Morrisons supermarket on Monday

A short ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Monday morning (July 6th) to mark the opening of Burnham-On-Sea's new Morrisons supermarket.

The supermarket has announced this week that Store General Manager Steve Pearson and Oven Fresh Assistant Debbie Derrick will officially open the store in Pier Street at 9am, when members of the public will also be welcome to watch.

Mr Pearson told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Over the past weeks, the team has been working night and day to ensure that customers enjoy shopping Morrisons style from day one."

"Opening the doors and welcoming the shoppers of Burnham will be the reward for all the training and preparation."

The new store will include Market Street, Morrisons unique collection of individual fresh food shops, such as the butcher, the baker and the fishmonger.
