Burnham-On-Sea MP makes festive visit to town nursing homes

Burnham-On-Sea's MP was in a festive mood when he visited two nursing homes in the town this week.

David Heathcoat-Amory visited Burnham Nursing Home and Elizabeth Court where he met residents and staff in the run-up to Christmas Day.

He joined in the fun at Elizabeth Court's Christmas party by donning a hat and pulling crackers with residents, as pictured.

The MP told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It is always a pleasure to visit care homes at this time of year and join in the Christmas spirit. With treacherous roads and bad weather outside I was glad to see that everyone was well cared for."
