A tongue-in-cheek film has been published on YouTube mocking Burnham-On-Sea’s MP over his expense claims in a week when new revelations have emerged.

The film, entitled ‘DHA: The Movie’, has been posted here on the video sharing website by an anonymous user called ‘Pitcombe’.

It highlights David Heathcoat-Amory’s claim for £388 of parliamentary expenses for manure, £2 for mouse poison and 50p for a lettuce.

Its publication comes amid new allegations this week that Mr Heathcoat-Amory has claimed £114,096 in EU farm subsidies during the last two years for his Scottish farms.

The report comes after new rules recently obliged governments to disclose who had benefited under the Common Agricultural Policy. The MP denies any conflict of interest.
