Police urge Highbridge residents to attend public meeting in town

-

Residents in Highbridge can have their say about the priorities for police in the town at a public meeting this week.

Highbridge police are holding a Partners and Communities Together (PACT) meeting at Morland Hall in Pearce Drive at 7.30pm this Thursday (February 19th).

Sergeant Ian Kennett, pictured, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I would like as many members of the local community as possible to attend the meeting and raise any issues of concern they have.”

“I would like to see crime fall in Highbridge and I believe that this can be achieved by the neighbourhood beat team working closely with the community and our partners targeting those individuals who commit offences.”

“In order to do this effectively, I would ask the public to report all crimes to the police. If we have accurate information we can target the right areas at the right times.”
