Burnham police tackle property crime with free advice events

Burnham-On-Sea police are holding several events in the town this week to help residents prevent property crime.

The events will be held as part of the forcewide police initiative called ‘Operation Relentless’.

Throughout this week there will be a crime reduction display on show at the Police Pod in the Asda car park in Highbridge.

On Wednesday (December 16th) from 2.30pm to 6pm a beat surgery and crime reduction display with PCSO Sheila Dickinson will be held at Sanders Garden World in Brent Knoll.

On Thursday (December 17th) from 12.45pm-1.20pm a property marking session will be held at King Alfred School with the Highbridge beat team.

A further beat surgery and crime reduction display will be held on Thursday from 2.30pm – 6pm at Sanders Garden World.

And from 2pm-3.30pm at Burnham’s Tesco store, PCSO Andy Dancy will hold a beat surgery and crime reduction display.
