Tickets
selling fast for Burnham-On-Sea charity race night
 More
than 130 tickets have already been sold for a fundraising charity
race night which will be held in Burnham-On-Sea next month.
The
event, on Saturday February 7th is being jointly run for Burnham
Medical Equipment Fund, Burnham Lions and the Somerset Speedway
Riders Injury Fund.
It
will be held at the Oaktree Arena, starting at 7pm, and tickets
cost £10 each and include a buffet.
Organiser
Tom Ashton, pictured, told Burnham-On-Sea.com the Burnham Medical
Equipment Fund would be putting its proceeds towards a set of
new £1,500 steps for disabled swimmers at Burnham swimming
pool.
"Tickets
are selling well and we hope to raise a good amount towards the
new equipment, which will feature a ramp, side rails and allow
disabled swimmers to access the pool in a dignified way."
