Police investigate deliberate car
fire in Burnham-On-Sea

Police
investigating a suspicious car fire in Burnham-On-Sea on Friday
lunchtime (May 15th) believe the blaze may have been started deliberately.
One
fire engine from Burnham was called to Rectory Road at 12.06pm
after a nearby resident spotted the vehicle in flames.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and a foam jet to bring
the blaze under control.
The
vehicle was later taken away by a commercial recovery service
for further investigation, as pictured here.
Police
spokesman Wayne Baker confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Police
are investigating a suspicious fire which occurred outside Stratton
House in Rectory House on Friday afternoon. It is being considered
as deliberate ignition."
