Fun
and fundraising raises £300 for Burnham lifeboat charity
A
fundraising fashion show held at Brean on Wednesday (July 15th)
to raise money for Burnham-On-Sea RNLI raised more than £300.
The
event included entertainment from Burnhams Wrinkly Rappers
and comedian Jim Darch.
There
were fashion parades from four local clothes retailers, generating
money towards kitting out RNLI crews.
Organiser
Charlie Symes-Thompson told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The event
was well supported, the clothes retailers received a lot of interest,
and the success of the evening will ensure that it will happen
again."
