Roadworks set to cause more
disruption in Burnham-On-Sea
Motorists
using a main road into Burnham-On-Sea will be faced with nine
weeks of disruption when roadworks get underway in February.
The
County Council's Highways Department this week announced that
Western Power Distribution would be laying new high voltage cabling
along Love Lane from February 2nd.
The
work is due to last up to nine weeks and temporary traffic lights
will be in place along Love Lane throughout the work.
Meanwhile,
Ham Road at Brent Knoll is scheduled to close for four weeks when
major repairs to a collapsed culvert begin on February 23rd.
And
Burnham-On-Sea.com reported earlier this week
how three months of roadworks in Church Street, Highbridge are
causing delays to drivers in that area of town.
