Burnham-On-Sea
Scouts get a trailer-full of good news!

Burnham-On-Sea
Scouts have been given a trailer-full of good news, thanks to
the donation of £750 of funding.
The
group has received £500 from Burnham Lions, a £100
grant from Burnham and Highbridge Town Council, and £150
of equipment from Highbridge Caravan Centre - all which is being
put towards buying a new trailer to transport the Scouts' equipment
on trips.
Scout
Leader Dave Burland told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Our old trailer
was in a bad state and urgently needed replacing so these donations
and grants have come at the right time."
"Whenever
we go on trips or excursions, the trailer is used to carry our
kit and belongings so it's important that it's safe."
"We've
been able to get a brand new trailer and wheel lock system with
the donations, so we're very grateful to all three groups for
their support."
