Burnham-On-Sea braced for first snowfall of this winter?

-

Burnham-On-Sea could get its first sprinkling of snow later this week if weather forecasts prove accurate.

The Met Office predicts temperatures will plunge over the next few days, with wintry weather expected to sweep across the south west by the weekend.

A spokesman for the Met Office said rain would clear to the south, leaving icy conditions behind.

Some showers may be wintry and it will feel very cold, with sleet and snow expected to spread southwards from the north to many areas.

Burnham-On-Sea’s last big snowfall was in February this year, as pictured, when pavements and the beach were covered in the white stuff – much to the delight of children. Check Burnham-On-Sea.com’s latest weather forecast here.
