St John’s Church in Highbridge is to celebrate the 150th year since its consecration with a week of events to mark the milestone.

The celebrations will begin on June 15th and will include concerts, slide shows and services.

The events, which are all open to the public, include:

Monday June 15th, 7.30pm: The church’s wedding and baptism records will be on show, giving visitors a chance to share memories over the years.

Wednesday June 17th, 7.30pm: Evening of music, stories and anecdotes from Alan Cook, the Diocesan Music Advisor, and past organist of St John’s Church.
