Four arrests after Burnham-On-Sea man stabbed

Police
have arrested four men following an early morning stabbing at
this road junction in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (June 20th).
Police
were called to the junction of Cassis Close and Burnham Road at
around 3.30am after receiving reports that a young man, inirially
thought to be a teenager, had been stabbed.
Blood
was found on the tarmac - and several teams of police and scene
of crime investigators were seen gathering evidence throughout
Saturday, as pictured here.
Talking
to Burnham-On-Sea.com, police spokesman Martin Dunscombe said:
"We were called to the scene at 4am to reports of a stabbing."
"A
male was found with an injury to his arm and taken to Weston General
Hospital, where he is in a stable condition."
Mr
Dunscombe confirmed: "Four men have been arrested and all
are in custody."

Bollards
and police tape were used to keep the public away from the crime
scene at the junction of Cassis Close

Later
in the day, police marked out four areas across the junction where
blood had been found

Blood
was clearly visible next to each of the markers at the road junction
