photos: Street party fun raises £450 for Burnham carnival
club
Hundreds
of pounds was raised for a carnival club when a street party was
held in the centre of Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday evening (May 24th).
Large
crowds flocked to the Somerset and Dorset pub for the bank holiday
party, which featured four hours of live music and entertainment.
Stalls and refreshments were also set-up outside the pub to raise
money for Hillview Juvenile Carnival Club's float.
Hillview
Chairman Mark Bishop told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It was a great
evening - very successful. Big thanks go to John and Pat Quinnel
from the S&D for organising the event."
