'Tai
Chi In The Park' attracts 40 to Burnham-On-Sea
park

Dozens
of Burnham-On-Sea residents took part in a Tai Chi day being held
across the country on Sunday (June 20th).
Over
40 people of all ages flexed and stretched their muscles in the
town's Manor Gardens during the event, which was overseen by the
Tai Chi Union of Great Britain.
Cheryl
Mountford, an instructor from the Burnham-based Bubbling Springs
Tai Chi group, led Sunday's event, pictured here.
She
told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "I was pleased with the turnout,
which was held to celebrate the Tai Chi Unions 'Tai Chi
in the Park' day. Tai Chi instructors and players all over the
UK were meeting to promote and share their knowledge of Tai Chi."
Tai
Chi Form is a sequence of slow, spiraling flowing movements and
is sometimes referred to as 'meditation in movement'.
