Burnham
ladies serve up a tea-riffic fundraising boost for charity!
A
group of generous Burnham-On-Sea ladies have this week raised
£270 for St Margaret's Somerset Hospice by holding a fundraising
tea party.
Barbara Fletcher with her team of friends organised the 'Tea
@ 3' event, which was held in her garden, where a cream tea was
enjoyed by supporters which included the Mayor and Mayoress of
Burnham and Highbridge.
Julie Draper, Community Fundraiser for St. Margaret's Somerset
Hospice, said: "We are very grateful to Barbara and her loyal
friends for giving their time, energy and resources to support
the work of St Margaret's."
"Their
commitment to fundraising is outstanding. Thank you to everyone
who contributed to the success."
