BBC
broadcasts live from Burnham street dubbed Britain's brightest

BBC
Points West broadcast a live report from a Burnham-On-Sea street
that has been dubbed the 'brightest in Britain'.
Presenter
Clinton Rogers interviewed several residents of Trinity Close,
including the Gardner family pictured here, during a live
segment on Wednesday
evening (December 9th).
Eight
homes have been illuminated with over 100,000 low-energy lights,
attracting national media attention in recent days.
Coverage
has appeared in several national newspapers, including The
Daily Mail.
The
homes are being lit up each night throughout the festive season
from 4pm until January 6th and over £500 has been collected
for charity in the first week, to be shared by BARB and PETAL,
The Christine Woodberry Memorial Trust.
Trinity
Close's Paula Payne told Burnham-On-Sea.com at last
week's switch-on: "It's our best ever display this year,
with several new quality illuminations on show. We hope to see
lots of people over the festive period and raise a good sum for
charity."
