school students celebrate 'best-ever' A-level results
at Highbridge's King Alfred School are today (Thursday) celebrating
the best A-level results in the school's history.
40 students opened their envelopes this morning - and the vast
majority were delighted at how they'd done.
teacher Andy Owen told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We are delighted
that the hard work of the students, staff and parents has been
reflected in our results, which are up on average by one grade
those doing especially well was Year 13 student Nathan Bird, who
achieved A*s in Georgraphy and Sociology and an A grade in Music.
