A38
re-opens after two car collision near Burnham-On-Sea

A motorist had to be cut free from his car after a two-car
accident on the A38 near Burnham-On-Sea late on Sunday night (August
29th).
Police,
fire and ambulance crews were called to the junction of Harp Road
and the A38, next to the Fox and Goose Hotel, as pictured here.
Fire crews used cutting equipment to free a male driver from
the blue car pictured here, who was rushed to hospital for further
treatment.
Police set up diversions around the scene after closing the southbound
carriageway while the emergency services were at the scene.
The junction is well known as being an accident blackspot following
several collisions during recent years.
