Amy celebrates special birthday in style in Burnham-On-Sea

-

A Burnham-On-Sea teenager celebrated her sixteenth birthday in style this week with a special performance by a top music group.

Amy Stacey’s birthday, held at Lakeside Holiday Park, followed the format of MTV’s Super Sweet Sixteen Party.

Mother Karen organised for top music group KIG to perform at the event, along with George Sampson, winner of last year’s Britain’s Got Talent ITV contest.

Karen told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “My philosophy is that you never know what is around the corner so live life to the full. I would rather she had some lasting memories than for me to have material things.”

“I am also very proud of what she has achieved this year, passing one of her GCSEs a year early and plucking up the courage to finally get on stage and sing. She also got an A in her drama mocks.”

While George Sampson was unable to attend due to the bad weather, KIG entertained Amy and her friends.

“It was a brill night. KIG went on at 7.30pm and although they stayed on and did a meet-and-greet, then signed autographs and took loads of pictures which was really good of them.”

“Unfortunately, George was not able to make it as he was snowed in at Warrington but his agent has said that he will try and get me some VIP tickets for any event we want to go to. Obviously, Amy was extremely disappointed but KIG really made the night go well!”
