Highbridge’s Apex Park friends group appeals for volunteers

-

Highbridge’s Friends of Apex Park has this week appealed for new members to come forward to join their active group of up to 20 members.

The aim of the group is to provide opportunities for the community to improve the park and promote the awareness of its facilities.

“The group works closely with Sedgemoor District Council and membership is open to any person who has an interest in the preservation and enhancement of the park,” council spokeswoman Claire Faun told Burnham-On-Sea.com. “Ideal members are those who use the park regularly, such as dog walkers.”

The ‘Friends’ meet every six weeks at Apex Information Point in Apex Park. To join or attend a meeting, contact Marina Turner at Sedgemoor District Council by calling 01278 435512. The group will hold its AGM on 23rd June.
