A man has been arrested and charged with burglary after breaking into a Highbridge club earlier this week.

Police were called to Morlands Social Club at 1.45am on Bank Holiday Monday (April 5th) after the man was spotted entering the building.

Officers arrested the man, who is from Weston, and prevented any items from being stolen.

Inspector Roger Tolley told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The man was arrested after apparently breaking into the social club. He has been charged with burglary and will appear in court on April 27th.”
