Nine well-known artists in Burnham-On-Sea will be opening up their studios to the public next weekend for a series of special Christmas exhibitions.

Sue and Clive Hammond-Lovatt, Margaret Micklewright, Anna Nicolaides, Mary Stradling, Angela Uren, Sharon Campbell, George Foweraker and Judith Champion will be displaying their work at four venues.

Clive Hammond-Lovatt (pictured right), Sue Clive Hammond-Lovatt and Margaret Micklewright will be showing paintings, sculpture and cards at 112 Berrow Road on Friday November 26th from 2-7pm, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th from 10am-4pm.

Meanwhile, Anna Nicolaides, Mary Stradling, Angela Uren and Sharon Campbell will displaying their textiles, mixed media and cards at Redlynch, 19 Rectory Rd on Friday 26th, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th from 11am-5pm each day.

Judith Champion will be showing her paintings, drawings, folding books, brooches and cards at Middle Burnham Farm in Stoddens Lane (01278 793873) and will be open on Friday 26th from 2-6pm, Saturday from 10am-4pm and Sunday from 1-4pm.

And ‘Artistry in wood’ will be the theme of George Foweraker’s exhibition at 7 Rectory Drive. He will be open on Friday 26th from 2-7pm, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th from 10am-4pm.

“The displays will provide a great opportunity to view the wonderful work of Burnham’s artists while getting a few Christmas gift ideas,” one of the organisers, Sue Hammond Lovatt, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

An exhibition by the Huntspill Art Group will also be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and Burnham Nursing Home in Oxford Street. Doors will open at 11am, there will be free entry and some exhibits will be for sale.
