One of Burnham-On-Sea’s familiar Bank Holiday sights was repeated on Monday afternoon (August 30th) when the owner of this van needed a few helping hands.

His vehicle briefly got into difficulty on Burnham beach next to the town’s jetty as he attempted to retrieve a jet ski, as pictured here.

One eyewitness told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The van’s wheels got stuck in the soft sand next to the jetty and a hardy group of holidaymakers was enlisted to push it free. Fortunately, the tide was going out at the time or it would have been a race against the sea.”

An identical van from the same company was also rescued at the same spot on Burnham-On-Sea beach last year, although on that occasion it was engulfed by sea water.
