police to hold free bike security marking session
can have their bikes security marked and get road safety advice
when Burnham-On-Sea police hold a special bike marking event on
Wednesday (August 18th).
marking session will be held during a police surgery from 2.30pm-3.30pm
at the main Apex Wildlife Park car park.
Claire Chambers and Eliot Green will be handing out crime reduction
advice, marking property and discussing safety advice.
told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "There are two ways we can mark
bikes. The first being a free UV marking, which adds the owners
postcode in a number of locations using an invisible marker; the
second is using a permanent marking system and ownership database.
Police are offering the service at a discounted rate of £4
per pedal cycle (normally retailed at £10.95)."
